Freight that fits the marketplace rules
Fulfilment centres reject or delay cartons that do not follow the marketplace’s prep, labelling and carton-weight requirements. These cost time and money, and are avoidable if the freight is planned around them.
We coordinate pickup from your supplier or warehouse, the international leg, import clearance and delivery to the assigned fulfilment centre, and flag preparation requirements before you pack. Wideair is an independent freight forwarder and is not affiliated with Amazon.
What we coordinate
- Air freight for fast replenishment and sea freight (LCL or FCL) for larger inventory
- Pickup from sellers and suppliers, consolidation of multiple supplier consignments
- Guidance on carton labelling, palletisation and shipment documents
- Export documentation from India, and import customs coordination at destination
- Delivery to the assigned fulfilment centre, including appointment coordination where required
- Dangerous goods and lithium battery items, subject to classification and carrier acceptance
Choosing air or sea for inventory
Air freight
Best for new product launches, high-value stock, and replenishment to avoid stock-outs. Higher cost per kilo, shorter and more predictable transit.
Sea freight
Best for larger, regular replenishment of non-urgent stock. Lower cost per unit, longer lead times, so stock must be planned earlier.
Who is the importer of record?
In most FBA flows, the seller (or its agent) must be the importer of record in the destination country, responsible for import duties and taxes. Door-to-door DDP services can simplify this, but they must be set up correctly. We explain the options for your destination before you book.
How an FBA shipment moves
- PrepareCartons, labels, shipment plan and invoices.
- CollectPickup, consolidation and export clearance.
- TransportAir or sea freight and import clearance.
- DeliverDelivery to the fulfilment centre.

Frequently asked questions
Which destinations do you ship FBA inventory to?
We can coordinate shipments to major markets such as the United States and Europe. Share your destination fulfilment centre and we will confirm the options.
Can you consolidate shipments from several suppliers?
Yes. Consolidation of multiple supplier consignments into one shipment is often the most economical way to move FBA inventory, subject to the marketplace’s labelling and prep rules.
Who pays import duty and tax?
The importer of record is responsible. Depending on the structure, that may be the seller, or duties may be handled under a DDP arrangement. We explain the cost implications in the quotation.
