When courier is the right choice
Courier and express services are built for small, time-sensitive consignments: commercial documents, product samples, spare parts and low-weight parcels. The shipment travels door to door with one tracking reference, and the courier often handles customs clearance as part of the service.
For heavier or larger consignments, air or sea freight is usually more economical. We tell you honestly when your shipment has crossed that line.

Courier weight and volume
Couriers also charge on the greater of actual and volumetric weight, but many use a divisor of 5,000 (length × width × height in cm ÷ 5,000) rather than the 6,000 used by most airlines. The courier’s own rules apply, so check before packing.

Frequently asked questions
How do I track an international courier shipment?
Use our tracking page, or ask us with your reference and we will check the status with the courier.
What can I not send by courier?
Restrictions vary by country and courier, and commonly cover dangerous goods, certain batteries, liquids, perishables, medicines and currency. Ask before sending anything unusual.
Is courier or air freight better for 50 kg?
It depends on the destination, dimensions and urgency. Above a certain weight, air freight is often cheaper per kilo but may need separate clearance. We will compare both.
