Preparing for the European market
Goods entering the EU must satisfy customs and product rules. Depending on the product, this can include CE marking, REACH obligations for chemicals, labelling and food-safety requirements. Importers generally need an EORI number, and VAT and duties are assessed on import. The United Kingdom has its own customs system and requirements, separate from the EU.
Importer-of-record and DDP arrangements affect who bears these responsibilities, so we review your terms before booking.
